As wide as the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is, there’s long been a piece missing; Mutants. A major part of the comic book universe, mutants feature across such popular titles as the multiple X-Men series, Ms. Marvel, Cloak & Dagger, and many more. However, because of rights to characters sold long before Iron Man launched the MCU in 2008, Marvel could never use the word ‘mutant’ in its cinematic universe.
