Deadpool & Wolverine featured about a whole heap of Marvel character cameos, including some from previous non-MCU films. In most of those cases, the original actor returned to play the character (we see you, Chris Evans), but in some cases, a new actor was brought in to take over. One of those characters was “The Russian,” last seen in live action in 2004’s The Punisher, played then by professional wrestler-turned-actor Kevin Nash. However, in Deadpool & Wolverine, The Russian is played by stunt actor Billy Clements (Black Widow), and Nash has now reacted to the casting choice.
