After Kraven the Hunter crashed and burned in theaters, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe was put on an indefinite hiatus. Understandably, since the franchise failed to find its footing without a Spidey at the forefront, despite Tom Hardy’s Venom trilogy becoming a profitable fan-favorite. While Tom Holland continues to be the MCU version of Spider-Man, it seems Sony still has plans for their own cinematic universe, this time with a new web-slinger. A rumor points to the company moving forward with the Sony Spider-Man Universe after Avengers: Secret Wars by introducing Spidey himself — Miles Morales.
