According to the cast of Daredevil: Born Again, the new series will closely tie into the beloved original show despite being set in a new universe. Daredevil: Born Again (titled after the acclaimed comic book by Frank Miller) is finally giving Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) a standalone series in the MCU. Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil, first appeared in the Marvel/Netflix series Daredevil in 2015, which ran for three seasons. The character then made his MCU debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home and reemerged in Marvel Studios’ Disney+ shows She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo. Now that Daredevil is finally getting his own show in the MCU, fans are worried that the series will retcon and ignore the original series, but the show’s cast is setting those fears at ease.
