Even when playing the most suave, badass characters, there remains a divide between the actor and the character they’re portraying… but not with Wesley Snipes. He is Blade at least, according to his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Dafne Keen. The new MCU movie, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the titular roles, brought Snipes back as the Daywalker for the first time in 20 years. His surprise appearance felt like the character had been ripped straight from the first Blade movie, as he delivered stone-cold lines whilst slicing through Cassandra Nova’s (Emma Corrin) henchmen.
