It’s here and it is causing a stir between collectors. Priced at £349.00 The Haslab Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes is a project many have looked forward to seeing and purchasing until Hasbro revealed the price.
The excitement grew from the first teaser we got way back in July 2022, where fans got a glimpse of a fiery trailer for a fall release. A Robbie Reyes figure accompanied by the Hell Charger was going to be a Legends first… we have a vehicle!!!
Not just any vehicle, but a fiery muscle charger that could seat more that 1 6” figure.
Now going off what people had paid for a 26.3” Sentinel and a 32” Tall Galactus previous, the collective consensus seemed to believe this Haslab project seeing as it was a a car and figure would come in less (around the £250 / $250 mark)
ts a lot smaller, didn’t require any fancy articulation, ratchet joints, used a lot less plastic, and on average a toy car of similar scale (WWE series) comes in around £40 / $40. So to see the price revealed at £350 / $350 was a shock to a huge majority to collectors which has resulted to a lot of online discussions, disgust and disappointment.
Hasbro have thrown a sweetner in for the early bird backers which is an additional de-powered Robbie Reyes if the project reaches 9000 backers by Friday 23rd September. If the backed amount of 9000 isn’t met by this time, the de powered Robbie Reyes will be pulled from the campaign leaving just the unlock-able tiers. Gun to the head of Robbie fans if you ask me.

If the campaign reaches its minimum goal of 9,000 backers before 11:59 PM ET September 23, 2022 all backers will receive an additional Marvel Legends 6-inch scale figure: Robbie Reyes in his human form. The exclusive version of Robbie Reyes will feature changes to his outfit and his human head with a comics-inspired look. This means backers will have two distinct figures for each display mode of the car. If the project is not backed by 11:59 PM ET on September 23, 2022, the Robbie Reyes Human-Form figure will not go into production, and only the Ghost Rider figure of Robbie Reyes will be included with the offering.

Ruled out of the tiers so far are, Vehicles (no more bikes) and Danny Ketch Ghost Rider.
What we do know is that Mephisto is an unlock-able tier after he was teased in the Haslab promotional video. How many backers will be needed to see him come to Legends figure form? Again word from Hasbro was, if some of the figures in the unlock able tiers aren’t released this way, releasing them through the normal channels of retailers or hasbropulse isn’t an option??
