The social media embargo for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has been lifted, and based on the early reaction, Marvel Animation seems to rebound following What If…? disappointing final season. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was first announced as Spider-Man Freshman Year in November 2021 and has undergone many changes, from being a direct MCU prequel to being retooled into a standalone project. Four years after its announcement, the series is finally set to debut on Disney+ on Jan. 29, 2025, and early word of mouth is good.
