Details of James Gunn’s reboot of the DC icon Superman are now coming thick and fast in anticipation of tomorrow’s trailer, with the director now revealing that his latest comic book movie effort will ditch several of his usual, and most recognizable, traits. In an interview with Gizmodo, Gunn first assuaged any worries that the kind of humor audiences have grown accustomed to in the likes of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad will be carried over into Superman, calling the DCU opener “incredibly serious” while leaving space for humor.
