“Ghost Rider” is a title that has been used by several individuals who have been possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance or a similar demon, such as Zarathos. The most well-known of these individuals is Johnny Blaze, who made a deal with the demon lord Mephisto to sell his soul. Other individuals who have taken on the title of Ghost Rider include Johnny’s half-brother Danny Ketch, who was given the powers of the Spirit of Vengeance through a medallion on his motorcycle’s gas cap; Alejandra Jones, who was chosen by Zarathos to be its next host after Blaze gave up his demonic powers; and Robbie Reyes, who was possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance after being mortally wounded and haunted by the demonic ghost of his uncle Eli Morrow.
Johnny Blaze
Johnny Blaze, also known as Ghost Rider, is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #5 in 1972. Created by writers Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich, and artist Mike Ploog, Ghost Rider is a supernatural antihero who fights evil using his powers as the Spirit of Vengeance.
The character’s origin story begins with Johnny Blaze, a young stunt motorcyclist who makes a deal with the demon Mephisto to save the life of his father, a motorcycle daredevil. In exchange for his father’s life, Johnny agrees to serve as Mephisto’s Spirit of Vengeance, becoming Ghost Rider.
As Ghost Rider, Johnny is imbued with supernatural powers that allow him to channel the power of Hellfire and control the elements. He can also transform into a flaming skeleton with a motorcycle made of hellfire. Ghost Rider’s primary power is the ability to generate and control hellfire, a mystical flame that can burn through any substance. He can also use this flame to project powerful blasts and create protective barriers.
In addition to his powers, Ghost Rider is also immune to injury and can regenerate from any wound. He also has superhuman strength, durability, and senses, and can communicate with the spirits of the dead.
Ghost Rider is known for his signature weapon, a chain with a spiked ball on the end that he can use to attack and ensnare his enemies. He also carries a fiery motorcycle that he uses to travel at superhuman speeds.
Throughout his comic book career, Ghost Rider has faced off against a variety of supervillains, including Mephisto, Blackheart, and the Kingpin. He has also joined forces with other Marvel heroes, including the Avengers and the X-Men, to fight against larger threats.
In addition to his appearances in comics, Ghost Rider has also been featured in a number of television shows and movies, including the 2007 film Ghost Rider starring Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze.
Danny Ketch
Danny Ketch is a character in the Marvel Comics universe who first appeared as Ghost Rider in Ghost Rider #1 in 1990. Created by writers Howard Mackie and Javier Saltares, and artist Mark Texeira, Danny Ketch is a different iteration of the Ghost Rider character from Johnny Blaze, who was the original Ghost Rider.
Danny’s origin story involves him discovering a mysterious motorcycle that is actually a vessel for the Spirit of Vengeance. When he touches the motorcycle, he is transformed into Ghost Rider and gains the powers of the Spirit of Vengeance.
As Ghost Rider, Danny is imbued with supernatural powers that allow him to channel the power of Hellfire and control the elements. He can also transform into a flaming skeleton with a motorcycle made of hellfire. Ghost Rider’s primary power is the ability to generate and control hellfire, a mystical flame that can burn through any substance. He can also use this flame to project powerful blasts and create protective barriers.
Unlike Johnny, who struggled with the burden of his powers and the demon Mephisto’s influence, Danny embraced his role as Ghost Rider and used his powers for good. However, he also faced challenges, including fighting against enemies who sought to use his powers for their own evil purposes and dealing with the conflict between his duty as Ghost Rider and his personal life.

Robbie’s origin story involves him being killed in a gang-related incident and being resurrected by the Spirit of Vengeance, which takes over his body and transforms him into Ghost Rider. Unlike previous Ghost Riders, Robbie’s powers come from the Spirit of Vengeance inhabiting his body rather than a deal with a demon.
As Ghost Rider, Robbie is imbued with supernatural powers that allow him to channel the power of Hellfire and control the elements. He can also transform into a flaming skeleton with a car made of hellfire. Ghost Rider’s primary power is the ability to generate and control hellfire, a mystical flame that can burn through any substance.
