Avengers 5: Joe & Anthony Russo’s Marvel Return Has Fans Divided

The MCU seemed to be heading back in the right direction Deadpool & Wolverine are about to bring the X-Men into the fray, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is returning to the small screen, and the Russo Brothers are rejoining Marvel Studios but fans aren’t too happy about that last point. Joe and Anthony Russo began their Marvel tenure with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a cold-war-inspired spy thriller starring Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier and Chris Evans as Captain America, a.k.a. “America’s ass” (he’s never escaping that joke). The pair then directed Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, with the latter at one point becoming the highest-grossing film of all time.
