Chris Hemsworth Rails Against Predictable Superhero Roles, Loved Playing a Villain in Furiosa

Marvel star Chris Hemsworth continues to rail somewhat against superhero roles while discussing playing the villainous Warlord Dementus in this years Mad Max prequel, Furiosa. Speaking with EW, Hemsworth stated that, besides working with acclaimed director George Miller, he relished the chance to dirty it up and to be messy and ugly and violent and chaotic. Continuing, Hemsworth criticized the rules that he must follow as an actor when playing a superhero, and called described such roles as being in the somewhat predictable box of the hero in a superhero space.”
