Deadpool & Wolverine featured plenty of actors returning to play their past iconic Marvel characters, but even more were considered when director Shawn Levy first made a list. After dominating the box office for two straight weekends, Marvel has now lifted the spoiler ban on the R-rated superhero comedy, revealing official photos of actors like Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Wesley Snipes as Blade, Dafne Keene as X-23, Chris Evans as The Human Torch and Channing Tatum as Gambit. For many fans, it was great to see a team of heroes representing the previous age of Marvel films of the late 90s and early 2000s before the MCU, but even more characters were considered.
