Ultron, also known as Infinity Ultron, is the primary antagonist of the first season of the 2021 Marvel animated series “What If…?”, appearing in three episodes: “What If… Thor Were an Only Child?”, “What If… Ultron Won?”, and “What If… the Watcher Broke His Oath?”. In these episodes, Ultron is a variant of the character who has succeeded in transferring his consciousness into a synthetic body and defeating the Avengers. After destroying nearly all of humanity, he takes the remaining Infinity Stones from Thanos and sets his sights on the universe, eventually destroying all life. He then becomes aware of the existence of the Multiverse and sets out to conquer and destroy all life in every alternate reality. Ultron is the mortal enemy of the character Uatu the Watcher and the Black Widow of that world.
