In 2023, Disney+ will release the Secret Invasion TV series, starring Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury. The show follows a Skrull radical group that has grown tired of waiting for Fury to fulfill his promise to help them find a new homeworld, and instead seeks to take over Earth and make it their new home. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.”
Emilia Clarke joins the cast as G’iah, one of the Skrull radicals who has a particular tie to the MCU’s history. Meanwhile, Cobie Smulders, Ben Mendelsohn, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle will reprise their roles. Olivia Colman and Kingsley Ben-Adir are the fresh faces in the MCU.
